Woman's eyeball explodes during driving lesson

A 30-year-old woman received eye
surgery after her eyeball exploded during a
driving lesson, MirrorUK reported.
The driving instructor was able to control the car
safely after the dreadful incident. He was forced
to grab the steering wheel when the learner's
eyeball exploded and no harm was caused.

The woman was rushed to hospital, where
doctors found that her cornea had split.
The condition is known to be caused by a
genetic disorder which causes the front of the
eyeball to thin and bend out of shape. She knew
at some stage of her life it will also affect her
but the big question was when.
She received an eye transplant, which left her
with 25 stitches and doctors told her she would
get better.
