According to the person who shared this photo on Facebook, Jibrilla Madu Gadzama, the National Coordinator of the APC National Youth Vanguard, he said it's residents of Mubi village in Adamawa state fleeing after yesterday's attack by Boko Haram men.

24yr old British-Nigerian lady, Joy Williams (pictured above) has died after a failed £2,000 butt enlargement surgery in Bangkok, Thailand. The young lady's older brother, Anietie, who lives in Nigeria, said the family didn't even know she'd traveled to Thailand.
"We don't really know what went wrong, we only know what is in reports in the media." Anietie said
He also said that the family is making preparations to bring her body home. According to the Daily Mail, Joy, who relocated to the UK from Nigeria in 2007 and lives with her mother in Thamesmead, died on October 23rd after visiting a clinic called SP Clinic in Thailand which she had found on the internet. Nobel Prize winner and Pakistani education campaigner, Malala Yousafzai, has donated $50,000 towards the reconstruction of schools in war-torn Gaza in Palestine. Many public buildings and schools in the Gaza Strip were destroyed by Israeli warplanes and tanks during Gaza's recent conflict with Israel.

This is a story about a 300level English Language student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Annabel Nzubechukwu Edeh, who has not been seen since she left a night club with an unknown man many weeks ago in Awka, Anambra state.

Annabel had gone to the night club with friends on September 17th and as the group of girls prepared to leave, Annabel told her friends she was in need of money so would go home with a guy she'd met at the club and would return to school the following morning. A 22 year old woman identified as Ifeoma Okechukwu has been arrested after she allegedly killed an unidentified man who she claimed tried to rape her at her Atlantic View Estate, Alpha Beach Road, Lekki home where she lived with her uncle. The incident happened on Monday October 27th.

According to a Punch, Ifeoma, an indigene of Imo state, said she had gone out on that faithful day around 12.30pm to buy sanitary pads because she was on her menstrual period, and was on her way back home when she was accosted by an unknown man....*graphic pic of the alleged rapist when you continue*

Some days ago, I told you guys about a man, 25yr old Moses Onianwa (pictured), who worked with Oshimili North LGA, and was allegedly shot by policemen attached to Ibusa Police Station in Delta State during last Saturday's Local Government Area elections (read here), unfortunately, he's passed. He died in the early hours of this morning October 30th at the FMC Hospital in Asaba.

Husband caught on camera handing over cash to hitman he hired to kill his bride

In 2010, newlywed British national Shrien Dewani and his 28 year old wife Anni Dewani were in South Africa for their honeymoon and while riding in a taxi in Cape Town on Nov. 13th, Anni was shot dead by two men who hijacked the taxi. The men involved in the murder were later caught and they shockingly confessed that the new husband had hired them to attack them in the car and kill his wife.

The wealthy businessman who had since left South Africa back to the UK, was extradited back to South Africa to face murder charges. Of course Shrien denied having a hand in his wife's death but today a footage of him handing money to the hitman he allegedly hired to kill his bride, taxi driver, Zola Tongo, who is serving 18 years in prison for his role, was played at his murder trial.

Happy birthday to plane crash victim, Kechi Okwuchi

Beautiful Kechi Okwuchi is one of the only two survivors of the Sosoliso plane crash that occurred in December 2005. It's been almost 9 years since the accident and even though it's not been easy, Kechi is living her life and loving it through the mercy of God! Today, she marks a milestone, she's 25 year old! Happy birthday, Kechi. Wishing you many more beautiful years ahead.

President of Zambia, Michaal Sata has died at the age of 77. He died yesterday October 28th at the King Edward VII hospital in the United Kingdom after suffering from an undisclosed ailment.

Born July 6 1937, Mr Sata was elected Zambia's President in September 2011. He is survived by wife Christine and 20+ children. May his soul rest in peace, Amen

Body of Diepriye Alamieyeseigha's late son flown into Nigeria

The body of Oyoms Alamieyeseigha, one of the sons of former Bayelsa State Governor, Diepriye Alamieyesegha, was flown into Abuja this evening October 28th from Dubai via Arik Air, on transit to Port Harcourt, as the family prepare to bury him.

The 30 year old man, who was schooling in Dubai, was found murdered there on Oct. 11th. Police initially said it was suicide but that has since been ruled out. Hopefully, the people behind his death will be captured.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Monday October 27, 2014 arraigned the trio of Ibrahim Abubakar, Abubakar Maigaskiya and Bashir Musa before Justice Faruk Lawal of Kano State High Court on two separate charges bordering on conspiracy to obtain money by false pretence.
While the 1st accused, Ibrahim Abubakar was docked on a 13-count charge, the duo of Abubakar Maigaskiya and Bashir Musa were slammed with a 2-count charge.
The accused persons alongside three others currently at large were alleged to have sometime in June 2009 conspired among themselves and forged documents purportedly emanating from the Federal Medical Centre, Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, for use in obtaining a N93million loan facility from a new generation bank.

The Australian government today announced a travel ban on all flights from West African countries, including Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia. Thankfully, Nigeria is not included.

Making the announcement, the Australia's Minister of Immigration, Scott Morrison said under the new travel ban, no new visas would be issued to intending travelers from these countries and that all temporary visas would be cancelled, this is all i a bid to stop the spread of the deadly Ebola virus.

According To LIB D'banj's younger brother Kayswitch's baby mama, Meena Subramani, stormed his home in Lekki Phase1 this afternoon demanding to see him, but for some reason, the security guards wouldn't open the gates. Meena, who got there by taxi and was carrying their 7 months old baby, started banging on the gate, shouting at security men and screaming that KaySwitch should come out and face her. She made a lot of allegations as she was screaming.

The house belongs to D'banj but he's currently not in Nigeria. Nobody came out of the house for the hour or so Meena was outside creating a scene. She has since left.

38 year old Emery James Jenkins (pictured above) has been arrested after he allegedly bit and beat his own son to death...because he wouldn't stop crying...and blamed it on a neighbour's dog.

A Minnesota man who allegedly bit and beat his infant son to death two weeks ago because he apparently wouldn’t stop crying blamed the attack on the neighbor’s dog but police aren’t buying it and he is now being charged with second degree murder.
Emery James Jenkins, 38, of Deer River told police that he had accidentally dropped his 3-month-old son on his head while in the bathtub and that the neighbor’s dog had attacked the boy while he was in a car seat wearing a monkey suit, according to CBS Minnesota.

In a new interview with Encomium mag, Wizkid said he doesn't care if people think he is arrogant, that he doesn't love everybody and so doesn't expect everybody to love him.

Asked if it bothers him that people think he's arrogant, Wizkid said;
"Bother me? Never! I am not bothered. Honestly I don't hear people saying it because anytime I go out, I show my fans great love. I do my thing. I don't have problem with that because I don't love everybody as well. So I don't expect everybody to love me too. That's life"

Alleged rapist Abayomi (pictured shirtless) was caught in Ife town outside OAU campus today. He was alleged to have raped a student from the department of Dramatic Art, Faculty of Art Of Obafemi Awolowo University outside the school campus somewhere behind Damico Institute Along Ede Road, Ife Osun State.

A 48 year old Nigerian man, Mathew Atueyi, who was arrested on August 2nd at Edinburgh Airport, UK with 80 packs of cocaine valued at £387,000 was arraigned today October 27th before a high court in Glasgow over drug trafficking charges.

At the court hearing today, prosecuting counsel, David Nicolson said that Atueyi, who arrived the UK from Nigeria via Paris was arrested after £2000 was found on him. A urine test carried out on him tested positive for cocaine and an Xray conducted at the St John’s Hospital Livingston showed he had ingested multiple wraps of cocaine...
