the boy’s corpse and a lot of charms.

Girls After My Body, Not Money—Iyanya Boasts

‘Kukere’ crooner, Iyanya, who is recently on tour
in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, is really having
fun of his life as the singer was massaged by
female fans while performing on stage.

During his performance, the excited fans rushed
to him and began romancing him, which got him
roted on the spot for some minutes, apparently
enjoying the pleasure.

After displaying the picture on his social media
platform, Iyanya stated that the ladies came for
the body and not the money.

Hijacked car: 4-yr-old boy dragged to death in S/Africa

JOHANNESBURG – A four-year-old boy trapped
by his seatbelt was dragged to his death behind a
hijacked car in South Africa, leaving his
traumatised mother screaming at the side of the
road, police and media said Monday.

“Mommy help me,” were the last words Chantel
Morris heard from her panicked son Taegrin as he
struggled to free himself before the car sped off
with him hanging helplessly out of the door,
Independent group newspapers reported.

Morris had loaded Taegrin and his eight-year-old
sister into their VW Golf outside their
grandmother’s house in Boksburg east of
Johannesburg on Saturday night when three
hijackers held guns to her head.

“I asked them to let me get my children out, they
could take whatever they wanted, but please let
me have my children. I went to the back to pull
out Taegrin,” Morris said.

Her daughter managed to climb out of the car,
but as Morris tried to free the boy from his
seatbelt his foot became stuck and the hijackers
sped off, ripping him out of her hands.
Morris and witnesses to the hijacking ran after
the car screaming, but it did not stop. It was
later found four kilometres away, with the boy’s
battered body next to it.

Police have offered a reward of 50,000 rand
($5,000) for information leading to the arrest of
the hijackers.
South Africa has some of the world’s highest
rates of violent crime, and carjacking is common.

World's luckiest man cheats death TWICE: Booked onto MH17 and MH370 he missed both flights

A MAN who swapped off doomed flight MH17
after finding a cheaper ticket was also due to fly
on mystery flight MH370.

Maarten de Jonge, 29, was set to travel on
MH370 back in March but chose to catch an
earlier flight.

The Malaysia Airlines plane vanished over the
Indian Ocean and, despite extensive searches, no
trace of the plane has been found.
On Thursday the 29-year-old cyclist was set to
board MH17 to fly to Kuala Lumpur but found a
cheaper fare and chose to fly on Sunday instead.

Soon after news broke of MH17 being shot down
over Ukraine he tweeted: "Had I left today, then…"

Writing on his website the Dutchman added: "How
happy I am for myself and my family that I was
on this flight did not take the last moment, my
story is ultimately nothing compared to the
misery in which so many people are paid.

Furious priest discovers church is being used to film porn movies

A PRIEST was forced to endure watching a porn
film to check to see if it had been filmed at his
church.

The furious priest had his suspicions confirmed
and went straight to police after discovering a
local woman had been using the holy building as
a studio to make films.
Someone had tipped him off after recognising the
interior of the church in Hoersching, Austria, from
a clip that had been uploaded to the Internet.

The sexy videos show the dark-haired local
woman wearing jeans and a white blouse holding
a rosary in one hand and the Bible in the other.
But the house of God soon turned into the house
of sin.

Police are now investigating exactly how the crew
and actors managed to get into the church, which
was used without permission.
Those involved may be charged for creating
"mischief" liable to cause legitimate nuisance in a
church or religious community.
They could face six months in prison or a fine.
The Diocese of Linz said in a statement: "The
sacraments which were celebrated in the past few
weeks in the parish church are still considered
valid.
"But they may still require the local bishop to
come and perform a service of purification."

watching the popular TV cartoon as a child has
broken a world record after getting covered in
tattoos of Homer Simpson.

Flanders' and was not allowed to watch the
popular cartoon as head of the household Homer
was depicted to be a 'buffoon'.

An alleged thief may have been caught due to his love of a Mexican fast food restaurant.

Daniel Warn was reportedly filmed on CCTV
breaking into the El Pollo Loco in Orange County,
California, on Wednesday morning.

The 28-year-old reportedly left the Costa Mesa
restaurant after not being able to find cash.

Rather than avoid the location for a while he
bizarrely decided to go back to buy some food
when it had opened, according to police.

Even worse, he was apparently wearing the same
distinctive outfit he donned during the attempted
robbery – a colourful hat and green t-shirt.

Unsurprisingly he was detained by authorities
after staff recognised him from the security
footage.
‘Shortly before noon on July 16, employees at the
El Pollo Loco contacted Costa Mesa Police
reporting that a subject matching the description
of the suspect seen on the store video was back
at the restaurant, in line to order food,’ the police
said.
Warn was being detained on a $35,000
(£20,500) bond.

Nigeria Should Stay United – US Consul General

The United States Consul General in Lagos,
Jeffrey Hawkins, has said Nigeria must not
split as there are a lot of commonalities that
bring the people of the country together.

US consul general Jeffrey Hawkins (right), and
Dr. Ahmad Sa’eid, during the Iftar Buffet
According to him, despite all the religious and
cultural differences in the country and the
incessant Boko Haram attacks, particularly in
the Northeast, Nigerians should stay united
and build a stronger country rather than split.

Hawkins disclosed this while speaking during
the Iftar buffet dinner with Muslim and
Christians scholars at his residence in Ikoyi
area of Lagos state, PM News reports.

He explained that what brings Nigerians
together is stronger than what may seek to
divide them.

" When you watch the World Cup, when you’re
sitting with Nigerians watching Nigeria play
France, I don’t think there’s a lot of Christians
and Muslims, I don’t think there’s a lot of
north-south, I think there are only Nigerians.

“I think rather than deconstruct something that
can be really great, (the solution is) to move
Nigerians to build something that can be really
great. I don’t think disruption is the answer. I
think building up is the answer," Hawkins said.

The US consul general said that Boko Haram’s
claims that they fighting for religion is a very
twisted version of Islam and religion.

Delivering a brief sermon before the break of
fast, Dr. Ahmad Sa’eid, a surgeon at the Lagos
State University Hospital, LASUTH, and a
Muslim, said the terrorists are not Muslims
and are not representing Islam.

Also speaking at the event, Chukwunonso
Ume-Ezeoke, a lawyer, called on Nigerian
politicians to take religion away from politics,
while advising Nigerians to choose leaders
based on their track records and performance,
rather than religion or ethnicity.
There have been several predictions that
Nigeria would break-up by 2015 following the
insecurity challenges and political in the
country. An ex-militant, Asari Dokubo had said
that the nation would disintegrate in 2015 if
President Goodluck Jonathan is not re-elected .

Apparently reacting to Asari’s statement, Niger
State Governor Babangida Aliyu had said that
the North will survive in case of a breakup of
the country .

10 Things You Didn't Know About D'banj

Nigerian Afrobeat star D’banj has taken the
international music scene by storm. Dapo Daniel
Oyebanjo took D’banj as his stage name,
incorporating a combination of his first and last
names. Topping charts around the world, he is
known for his unique Afrobeat-electronic sound.
Here are 10 things you didn’t about D’banj, the
hit artist.

1: D’banj was on track to follow his
father’s military career
D’banj was enrolled in the Nigerian Military
School at age 11, but decided to quit the
school after three years. During this time, he
was a member of the elite drum corps, before he
moved to the Nigerian Navy Secondary School to
finish his secondary education.

2: His love of the harmonica comes from
his late older brother
D’banj’s older brother, Femi Oyebanjo, tragically
died in a plane crash at the age of 17. Femi’s
harmonica was one of the few items retrieved
from the wreckage, and D’banj appropriated it
and began to cherish the instrument. His skill is
self-taught, – a touching tribute to his older
brother.

3: D’banj briefly studied mechanical
engineering
After receiving his secondary school degree,
D’banj briefly attended the Univeristy of Lagos in
1999, where he studied mechanical engineering
before leaving early to pursue music.

4: His parents have not always supported
his dream
D’banj’s hit song, “All The Way,” is about the
struggles he faced with his parents over his
chosen career. His father in particular continued
to hold out hope that he would pursue the
military.

5: D’banj is the first African artist to be
signed by Kanye West on the album,
G.O.O.D.
In June 2011, D’banj was signed to the label as
a part of Mo’ Hits – the allstar collective group
from Mo’ Hits Records that included Dr. SID,
Wande Coal, KaySwitch, and D’prince.

6: He was appointed as Nigeria’s first U.N.
Youth Ambassador for Peace
D’banj is the founder of the Koko Foundation for
Youth and Peace Development, an organization
dedicated to helping underserved Nigerian
children in around Lagos and Abuja. D’banj also
uses his platform and voice to discuss
international affairs. He recently condemned the
Boko Haram kidnapping of Nigerian schoolgirls
and urged the international community to take
swift action.

7: D’banj is rumored to have recently
joined the Illuminati
There’s an entirely unverified rumor that D’banj
and Don Jazzy split because D’banj joined the
international occult group, the Illuminati. The
rumor mills turned even quicker when Don Jazzy
donated all the proceeds from his production
catalog to charity, supposedly to avoid keeping
“dirty money.”

8: D’banj credits Fela Kuti as his
inspiration to this day
In his music, D’banj incorporates many of the
same Afro beats as the legendary Afrobeat
master, Fela Kuti. Similarly, D’banj performs in
Yoruba, English, and Pidgin English, much as
Fela Kuti did.

9: He has been linked with a variety of
African celebrities
Given his fame, D’banj has not surprisingly been
linked with a variety of women, including
Nigerian actress Genevieve Nnaji and Ghanian
actress Nadia Buari.

10: D’banj briefly had his own reality show,
Koko Mansion”
In 2009, D’banj hosted his own reality TV show,
“Koko Mansion.” The setup was similar to
America’s “The Bachelor.” Twelve women,
referred to as “Kokolets,” competed to win his
heart.

Dutch banks act on MH17 credit card looting reports

(AFP) – Dutch banks said Saturday they were
taking “preventative measures” after reports of
credit cards being looted from the Ukrainian crash
site of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17, where 192
Dutch citizens died.

“International media report that victims’ bank
cards have been stolen,” the Dutch Banking
Association said in a statement
“Banks are taking preventative measures as
necessary,” it said, adding that any losses
suffered by relatives of the dead would be paid
back.

Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 came down in rebel-
held eastern Ukraine on Thursday with 298 people
on board.

The area has been under the control of Russian-
backed separatists since the crash, preventing
international investigators from gaining access.

Doctors’ Strike: Lack of oxygen kills two-month-old baby

A two-month-old baby has died at the Daughters
of Charity Hospital, Kubwa, the Federal Capital
Territory, FCT, as a result of lack of oxygen for
treatment following the nation wide strike
embarked upon by doctors.

Meantime, a member of the Senate Committee on
Health, Senator Magery Okadigbo, has appealed
to the striking doctors to consider the poor
Nigerian masses and call off the industrial action
they embarked upon as a result of unresolved
welfare packages with the Federal Government.

Hospital sources told Sunday Vanguard that the
baby had high fever and was brought to the
hospital when the situation became critical and
the mother was allegedly told by the doctor on
duty that the condition was extremely bad.

Although the medical team was said to have
made frantic efforts to revive the baby that was
brought to the hospital about 12 am Sunday, the
efforts did not yield result as the baby gave up
at about 4pm that day.

The hospital sources said if the baby had been
placed on oxygen at the time he was brought
there, perhaps, he would have lived.
Efforts made to speak to the mother of the baby,
who was crying uncontrollably, did not yield result
even as the hospital management kept mute
while the medical doctor who tried to revive the
baby to no avail was in a bad mood.
Speaking in an interview, the senator representing
Anambra North and a member of the Senate
Committee on Health, Okadigbo, appealed to the
doctors to respect the ethics of the profession
they sworn-to and go back to work.
Okadigbo, who has attracted five health centers
to her constituency and will be giving out
empowerment packages to over 700 people
including 100 widows and physically challenged
people, said that it was the masses that were
suffering the effect of the strike.
She said, “I have a personal experience on the
issue of strike in the health sector.

About 11
years ago, when my husband (the late Chuba
Okadigbo) was sick and we had to take him to
hospital, we took him round three hospitals in
Abuja here and he eventually gave up.
“It is a bit difficult to understand while someone
who took an oath to save lives and failed to think
about it but rather chooses to go against that
oath. To me, it is personal but we can only
appeal. We at the Senate Committee level had a
meeting with them.
“Yes, some of their demands were reasonable.
They need improved conditions of service, but
some of the demands are a bit frivolous in my
opinion but we can only appeal that they should
all come together and find a way to resolve the
issue.

“People are dying daily as a result of the strike
while the demands include mundane things like
justifying the need for better conditions of service
because you spent more years in the university
than other health workers. The NMA should be
reasonable with their demands.”
Okadigbo disclosed that she has attracted five
health centers to his constituency, adding that
three out of the five health centers had been
completed while two were near completion,” she
Said.

”I was two years in the senate on July 17, I will
say I was effectively in the upper chamber for one
year because the first year was spent in the
court room chasing after judgement.
”But I also feel it is right to appreciate the
constituency that had stood by me, throughout
the struggle in court. So on the 18th; I want to
have my empowerment day which will be the first
in my constituency.

”Members of my constituency are all excited
about it because it has never happened in such a
large scale before in the entire seven local
government areas consisting 99 wards of the
senatorial district. We are trying to empower
about 700 people with various items while the
Senate President, David Mark, is expected as the
special guest of honour

Boy Dies By Electrocution Using Cell Phone While Charging

Dear reader, be carefully aware that you could be
hurt or killed if you make the choice of using your
cell phone while it is plugged into the wall and
charging. A young person in MIami, Florida, USA
was charging his normal cell phone when an
incoming call arrived. While his phone was still
connected to the wall outlet he reached for and
answered his phone.
just a few seconds a surge of electricity
traveled from the wall up the length of cord and
knocked the boy to the floor with a thunderous
jolt. The boy’s parents discovered him
unconscious. His body was still warm and his
hands showed signs of being severely burnt.

He was rushed to the University of Miami
Hospital. He was pronounced deceased shortly
after arriving by ambulance in the hospital’s ER
department. Sadly, all he did was pick up his
charging phone to perhaps talk with a friend or
relative.

There are many things that happen which are
more likely to occur than being killed by a
charging cell phone, yet still, it could happen.
Being struck by random lightning, being the
recipient of a winning medal in the World
Olympics are statistically more likely. Still, the
chance of death by cell phone exists. Be careful
even of the common daily use of your choice in
the phone and manner which you use it.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission
(CPSC) offers sound advice: (1) Do not use
batteries that are not included with your phone.
(2) Avoid hot places of storage and do not either
store your phone near metal while it is being
charged. (3) Visit the site ‘ productssafety.gov ‘ for
the latest information on all kinds and types of
household products.

It is a sad example of a the case of this young
man losing his life from such the common
situation. His parents grieve and his friends
surely miss the lad. Just be very careful, people,
whenever you consider answering a ringing phone
while it is plugged into an outlet. Is the call really
important enough to risk your lives? May be being
ready to check your Voicemail rather than
answering the incoming ring is a better idea? Use
your heads and stay conscious of the knowledge
that in this world weird things are always having
a way of happening.

Burning wreckage, bodies scattered after airliner crashes in Ukraine

Dozens of bodies
were scattered around the smouldering wreckage
of a passenger jet that crashed in a field in
eastern Ukraine on Thursday, a Reuters reporter
said.
An emergency services rescue worker said at
least 100 bodies had so far been found at the
scene, near the village of Grabovo, and that
debris from the wreckage was spread across an
area up to about 15 km (nine miles) in diameter.

Broken pieces of the wings were marked with
blue and red paint - the same colours as the
emblem of the Malaysian airline which lost track
of a Boeing 777 en route from Amsterdam to
Kuala Lumpur that was carrying almost 300
people.

"I was working in the field on my tractor when I
heard the sound of a plane and then a bang and
shots. Then I saw the plane hit the ground and
break in two. There was thick black smoke," said
a witness, who gave his name only as Vladimir.

A separatist rebel from nearby Krasnyi Luch who
gave his name only as Sergei said: "From my
balcony I saw a plane begin to descend from a
great height and then heard two explosions.

He denied the rebels had shot the plane down.
"This could happen only if it was a fighter jet or a
surface-to-air missile (that shot it down)," he
told Reuters, saying the rebels did not have
weapons capable of shooting shoot down a plane
at such a height.

All 295 people aboard the plane were killed, a
Ukrainian interior ministry official said, blaming
"terrorists" using a ground-to-air missile.
Ukraine's prime minister called the downing of
the flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur a
"catastrophe".

These images show the dramatic final
moments of a young Chinese couple’s prolonged
yet unsuccessful suicide attempt.

The pair reportedly each cut their wrists,
attempted to blow themselves up, before finally
throwing themselves off their apartment
balcony in the city of Zhuhai.
Meng Liu, 26, and his girlfriend Mei Ke, 25, had a
heated argument the night before these images
were taken, in which they agreed they should split
up.
However, the pair could not bear the thought of
being apart, so they decided to commit suicide
together.
They reportedly used glass from a broken bottle
to try and cut their wrists, but when this proved
unsuccessful they attempted to blow their flat up
using the gas cooker.
According to police spokesman De Li, the couple
then decided to jump from their balcony to their
deaths.

But when they were about to Jump the guy changed his mind and grabbed on to the railings, the girl was holding on to him too.
So they were just there hanging and calling for help, neighbours heard them and called fire service.

Thank God they were saved and and and they still luv each other.

Revellers criticised over sex in car park picture taken at El Divino student night in Belfast

A picture of two female clubbers appearing to
have sex with two men in a car park outside a
nightclub has sparked outrage online.

The image has been shared on thousands of
social media accounts after being taken outside El
Divino in Belfast after a student night last
Thursday.
It shows the two scantily-clad women on top of
the men, with other revellers milling in the
background, in scenes reminiscent of the recent
video of a clubber giving oral sex to men in return
for a drink in Magaluf .
The most recent shocking image was taken after
the Knee Deep student event on July 10th, and
has led to numerous negative responses on
Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Britney Spears allegedly walked out of a restaurant without paying her $30 bill

Los Angeles - Britney Spears allegedly left a
restaurant without paying.

The Till The World Ends hitmaker and her
boyfriend, David Lucado, reportedly walked out
of The Cheesecake Factory in Thousand Oaks,
California after eating lunch, but forgot to settle
their bill.

But a source insisted the 32-year-old star
simply made a mistake and told gossip website
TMZ.com that she feels "horrible" about it.

The couple, who started dating in March 2013,
had an appetizer and a salad before telling the
waitress that her bodyguard would pay the $30
bill and leaving with a doggie bag of leftovers.

But the security guard never gave the waitress
any money, as he thought Britney, who has
sons, Sean, eight, and Jayden, seven, with ex-
husband Kevin Federline, had paid.

A source recently revealed that Britney and
David are thinking about having a baby together
when her Las Vegas residency ends next year.

The insider said: "Britney cannot wait until the
Vegas show is done because she wants to start
a family with David. She says she will get
pregnant as soon as the show is finished!

"David is always with her in Vegas and they act
like an old married couple together. He is really
good with her kids and has taken to the father
role pretty easily."

Why I Went Easy On Tiwa Savage's Body In My Video—Patoranking Explains

Some people, who have watched the remix of
Patoranking’s ‘Girlie O’ music video have
expressed sadness over the way the budding
singer interpreted the song. They argued that the
former Timaya’s Dem Mama Records’ artiste did
not fully express the words of his song with
action.

Patoranking featured Tiwa Savage in the remix of
the song and shot the video, which has been
enjoying favourable airplays.

Tiwa Savage has been in the news lately for the
wrong reasons, which have mostly been with the
way she makes some erotic moves. At a concert
held few months ago, the sexy singer ‘rocked’ the
life of a fan who mounted the stage with her
while performing. This got many tongues
wagging.

Many apparently thought that if Tiwa Savage
could free her body to a ‘stranger’, she will not
raise an eyebrow for a colleague like Patoranking
to have a field day on the body of the wife of
Tunji ‘Tee Billz’ Balogun.
But in the music video, Patoranking tried as much
as possible to respect Tiwa Savage’s body, which
some people are not happy about.

Those who have commented to the video believe
that the young singer should have held Tiwa
Savage tightly, especially when she made the
move to hold him closely as expressed in the
video.

On An interview Patoranking explained that he was
only trying to be professional in the music video,
and wondered why some people would want him
to be unprofessional.

Hear him, “Tiwa is a very wonderful person, trust
me, I enjoyed working with her, but we kept it
professional as we tried to do all we were
supposed to do.” When told that some fans had
expected him to closely hold Tiwa like a lover, he
said, “we did and it is cool.”

Rapper Andre Johnson Who Cut Off His Penis Opens Up On The Incident

American rapper who in April severed his
penis and jumped from the second level of the
building opens up on the incident.

The badly injured Andre Johnson was rushed
to the hospital, however the doctors did not
manage to reattach the cut-off part back to
his body.
While some said that the 40-year-old was
under drugs that night, the others alleged he
had "mental issues".
In a recent interview with E! Johnson explained
he was aware of everything he was doing on
the fateful day:
"Yes, I was using drugs that night, but I was in
complete control. I cut it off because that was
the root of all my problems. My solution to the
problem was the realization that sex is for
mortals, and I am a god… Those kinds of
activities got me into trouble, and I came here
to be a god."
The musician did not want to speak with the
media on the issue in order not to be tagged
"crazy". Johnson disclosed however he had
started visiting a psychologist after the
incident but was deemed fine.
Unwilling to kill himself, the rapper was happy
with waking up at the hospital:
"That was just my response to the demons.
They were doing their best to get to me, but
being alive solidified my thoughts. …I’m alive,
penis or no penis."

Meet The Adorable Baby Girl Born Without A Nose And She Can’t Stop Smiling

“Proud mom, Gráinne Evans, 30, said:
“At first I just couldn’t understand it, I
didn’t even know it was possible.
“How did my little girl not have a
nose? Was she going to live? Would
anyone be able to help her?
“But ever since we got her home she’s
grown every day, smiled more and
shone brighter, and the more she
shines the more her differences fade
into the background.
“Tessa is so petite but she’s the most
determined little girl I know, she
adores her big brother and sister,
copies everything they do and despite
her ‘disabilities’ is already a typical,
fearless toddler who climbs the
furniture and loves to dance.
“Everyone who meets her instantly
falls in love with her. We just want her
to inspire other people like she
inspires us.”
Gráinne, who chose to have a natural
water birth, had no idea that her
daughter would be born without a
nose until she lifted her new-born out
of the birth pool for the first time.
Weeks after giving birth to her
extraordinary daughter, Gráinne
discovered a horrifying journal online
which stated that babies born like
Tessa had poor mental and physical
development and implied parents
should be given the option to
terminate their pregnancy.
The full time care giver and mother-
of-three from Maghera, County Derry,
says that her daughter proves that
statement wrong and wants to raise
awareness about the condition and to
make sure every child born with
arhinia around the world is loved and
looked after.
Gráinne said: “I was so excited to
have a natural birth for the first time,
but as soon as I saw her face I knew
something was wrong.
“I was in shock and I just froze. The
midwife cut the cord before I could
even say anything and whisked her
away from me.”
Gráinne’s pregnancy had been
completely normal but at her 20-week
scan an abnormally flat facial profile
was detected.
Gráinne and her husband Nathan, 32,
a nightclub manager, were told to
prepare to make difficult decisions but
the follow up 3-D scan and tests
revealed Tessa was perfectly healthy
and everything was normal.
But sadly what was meant to be the
happiest moment of Grainne’s life
turned into the most horrifying
nightmare.
Gráinne said: “The whole thing is a
complete blur and I don’t remember
much, Nathan has had to fill in the
blanks.
“There were alarm bells ringing and I
was so frightened I couldn’t stand
without fainting, I just wanted to hold
my baby and know she was okay.
“Doctors were able to stabilize her so
she could breathe on her own and
eventually I was allowed to hold her
for a few seconds. I kissed her
forehead and told her I loved her
before they took her away.
“I felt so lonely and helpless, I was
supposed to protect my baby and be
able to help but I couldn’t, there were
tubes coming out of her tiny little
body everywhere.
“She spent her first five weeks in a
neonatal intensive care unit, which
were undoubtedly the worst weeks of
my life.”
It wasn’t until a few days later that
Grainne and Nathan realized how rare
their daughter’s facial anomaly was.
There are just 47 recorded cases in
the English records of people with
partial or full anomalies.
Gráinne said: “Nathan has been so
strong from the very beginning. He
accepted it and loved our baby girl
instantly, even sending me a picture of
her from NICU thanking me for the
best Valentines present ever.
“I couldn’t have coped without him
and the incredible support of our
extended family.”
Gráinne worried about what people
would think of her daughter’s face.
“I found coming to terms with how
others might react to Tessa’s
difference a real struggle and was too
scared of what people would think of
her to even go outside at first.
“The charity ‘Changing Faces’ was a
great source of support and
information as was the cranio-facial
charity ‘Headlines.’
“Wearing Tessa in a sling gave me the
confidence to first go out in public,
since it gave me control over who
could see her.
“Now when we are out and about I’m
no longer afraid of what people might
think. In fact I think she will help
people see that ‘different’ can be
beautiful too.”
Now, the family looks forward to what
the future might bring.

FINALLY! ’Jonathan Agrees To Meet Parents Of Chibok Girls After Meeting With Malala

For the first time since the abduction of
hundreds of schoolgirls from
Government Girls Secondary School,
Chibok, Borno State, in April, President
Goodluck Jonathan is to meet with their
parents “in the next 24 hours”. Seven of
the parents are said to have died already
as a result of the traumatic incident
which drew global attention. Jonathan
has also promised that the abducted
schoolgirls will get scholarships. The
scholarships will cover those who have
escaped from captivity so far and those
who will escape or be rescued later.

He disclosed his plans when he played
host to 17-year-old Malala Yousafzai, the
young Pakistani girl-child education
advocate who was shot by the Taliban
three years ago for her campaign.
Yousafzai is currently in the country to
support girl-child education and drum
up support for the release of the Chibok
schoolgirls in commemoration of Malala
Day ─ the day set aside by the United
Nations for global attention on girl-child
education. Jonathan also briefed Malala
on the efforts of his government to
attack poverty and illiteracy in the
north-eastern part of the country.
Malala told journalists after the meeting
that her foundation had raised $200,000
in support of the education of the
abducted girls on their return. She said:
“I am here in Nigeria on my 17th
birthday for a price which is to see that
every child goes to school. This year, my
objective is to speak up for my Nigerian
sisters about 200 of them who are under
the abduction of Boko Haram and I met
the President Goodluck Jonathan for this
purpose. “I conveyed the voice of my
sisters who are out of school or who are
still under the abduction of Boko Haram.
And for those girls who escaped from the
abduction but still do not have
education.

And in the meeting, I highlighted the
same issues which the girls and their
parents told me in the past two days.
“The parents said they really want to
meet with the president to share their
stories with him. And I asked the
president if he wants to meet with the
parents of the girls, the president
assured me that he would meet with
them. “I spoke to the president about the
girls who complain that they cannot go to
school despite the fact that they want to
become doctors, engineers and teachers.
But the government is not providing
them any facility. They also need health
facility, security, and the government is
not doing anything. “These are the issues
I presented to the president today.

And the president fortunately promised
me that he will do something for these
girls and he promised me that the girls
under the abduction of Boko Haram will
be released as soon as possible. This is
the promise the president made and I
am hopeful that his promise will come
through and we will soon see those girls
return soon. “I am hopeful that these two
promises, the return of the girls from
Boko Haram and meeting with their
parents will be fulfilled and we will see
it soon. Even though the promises have
been made, it does not mean I am going
to stop talking. I will be counting days
and I will be looking when those girls
are going to be returning home.

“I can’t stop this campaign until I see
those girls return back to their families
and continue the agitation. This is the
position of the Malala foundation. My
father and I and the entire family want
to speak out for those 10.5 million
children who are out of school. They
have no access to education because of
many problems. And I am hopeful that
the international community will take
serious action because if we think this
country is in Africa and is not going to
affect other countries, we are really
wrong. “If we leave 10.5 million
children illiterate, these children can
become terrorists, they can be violated
and they can be deprived of their basic
human rights, at the end they will not be
able to help their country in developing.
So if we want the whole world to be
successful, it is important that every
child should go to school.

Unfortunately, in Nigeria, only 1.5% of
the budget is spent on education which
is a small amount compared to Pakistan
which has increased its own to 4%.
“Money spent on education should
definitely be increased. This is how this
country is going to be developed and i
believe in the power of education. If
Nigeria must have a bright future, every
child must have an opportunity to go to
school.”

Paul Okoye's Hilarious Response To A Fan...

conversation below :Paul Okoye, one of the sensational Music duo
Psquare, has hilariously replied a fan who
tried to ‘famz’ the Nigerian international act
recently.

The married musician who is working on a
collaboration with American rapper T. I
updated his Facebook page revealing how
many people complain he is being biased when
it comes to sending out birthday wishes to his
fans. He however decided to send out his own
special birthday wishes out to all his fan
celebrating their birthdays from 1st of January
to 31st of December to ‘close the case’.

Some minutes after the update, a fan claiming
to know him from way back, commented on
the post accusing the singer of forgetting her
despite their history, and even poked him
further about not wishing her a happy
birthday….Paul Okoye’s funny response may
get you giggling. Read the screenshot of the
