World's luckiest man cheats death TWICE: Booked onto MH17 and MH370 he missed both flights

A MAN who swapped off doomed flight MH17
after finding a cheaper ticket was also due to fly
on mystery flight MH370.

Maarten de Jonge, 29, was set to travel on
MH370 back in March but chose to catch an
earlier flight.

The Malaysia Airlines plane vanished over the
Indian Ocean and, despite extensive searches, no
trace of the plane has been found.
On Thursday the 29-year-old cyclist was set to
board MH17 to fly to Kuala Lumpur but found a
cheaper fare and chose to fly on Sunday instead.

Soon after news broke of MH17 being shot down
over Ukraine he tweeted: "Had I left today, then…"

Writing on his website the Dutchman added: "How
happy I am for myself and my family that I was
on this flight did not take the last moment, my
story is ultimately nothing compared to the
misery in which so many people are paid.
